Tribeca starts the year strong with early industry recognition

20-Mar-2026

Tribeca has hit the ground running this year, picking up a series of accolades that reflect its local impact and growing presence across Africa.

The agency has been named among the Top 30 PR Agencies in Africa by Africa PR Week. At home, Tribeca also ranked third Best PR Agency in South Africa in the Town Press and Egoliprospects survey.

On the awards front, the team was shortlisted in three categories at the Sabre Awards Africa, taking home a gold win for financial services client glu in the employee communications category.

This year also marks 20 years of Tribeca, two decades in, and the agency has built a reputation that stretches well beyond South Africa.

Nicky James, co-founder and managing director, says the agency’s approach remains grounded in delivering results for their clients rather than chasing accolades:

“We don’t do the work to win awards. We focus on developing a solid strategy, executing it effectively and delivering measurable results for our clients. Awards are a welcome recognition of this work, and we enter once we know we’ve achieved something we and our clients are proud of.”

With a solid start to the year and a milestone anniversary to celebrate, Tribeca continues to hold its own on the global stage while staying focused on what matters day to day.
